About Us
Madrasah Al-Iman was founded in 2018 by a group of parents in Tampines who wanted more than just weekend religious classes for their children. They wanted a madrasah that combined strong Islamic scholarship with modern teaching methods — a place where children would love to come every Saturday and Sunday. Eight years on, we've grown from 20 students in a rented void deck space to over 200 students and 12 teachers in our current premises. Our students have gone on to top madrasah, memorised the Quran, and most importantly, grown into confident young Muslims proud of their faith and identity in Singapore.
To provide every Muslim child in Singapore with a joyful, rigorous Islamic education that prepares them for life as practising Muslims in a modern, multicultural society.
Testimonials
"My children look forward to Madrasah every weekend. The ustaz and ustazah are patient, caring, and truly passionate about teaching. I've seen such growth in my kids' confidence reading Quran."
"What I appreciate most is the balance — strong Islamic foundations but taught in a way that's relevant to our kids growing up in Singapore. The teachers really understand our community."
"My daughter went from barely recognising Arabic letters to reading Quran in one year. The Nooraniyyah method really works, and the small class sizes make a huge difference."
